About us
Performance horses with talent for dressage and exceptional characters
The aim of our stud farm is to produce horses with a lot of expression that are easy-going, willing to work and comfortable, for ambitious competion riders as well as free-time riders. Horses that are very affectionate towards humans and have the capability of learning fast and eagerly. Through careful selection the product is a Lusitano with great temperament, exceptional gaits and high disposition for dressage sports.
We set great value upon giving our horses the optimal circumstances for rearing, to ensure healthy growth, strength and a balanced temper, making them perfect sport horses in the future. Our horses spend their lives outside in the pasture with their herd all year round. All of our horses are presented to an expert farrier regularly and are transported in a trailer to bring them to the summer pastures.

As we are a small studfarm we take our time to teach our young horses proper behaviour around humans without putting them under pressure or causing them stress. All of our horses are extremely affectionate towards humans.
In Austria Piroplasmosis does not exist. All of our horses are therefore suitable to be exported to countries with restrictions regarding this sickness.

Foal Rearing
On pastures with a total area of 21 hectares we aim to provide our horses with the optimal space for rearing, with a keeping that is appropriate for horses and their welfare.
The winter pastures in the valley are spacious to provide especially the young horses with enough freedom to move at all times. On approx. 2 hectares of plane pastures, that are surrounded by a massive acacia wood fence, we have two groups, on one hand the young stallions and colts, and on the other hand the fillys, brood mares and retired horses. Both groups are provided with large open stables, supplied with compartments to ensure the well-being of both dominant and subordinate animals.
For the foals and brood mares we have foaling boxes and an own summer pasture of 4 hectares, for them to be able to spend the first weeks after giving birth, in peace.
The rest of the summer pastures are contoured and similar to alpine pastures, concerning the climate and vegetation. Young horses train their agility, endurance and sure-footedness by themselves, preparing them for their future as tough and healthy sporthorses.
Sold horses can stay in our studfarm until they are ready to be ridden. We take utmost care in rearing, holding them in close contact with us, so that the owners have a gentle and trustful animal once they are started.
